We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our client's team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role ensures compliance with payroll, wage laws and maintains accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll reports and ensure compliance on a weekly/biweekly basis 
• Review timesheets, verify job classifications, and handle payroll discrepancies
• Maintain accurate payroll records and collaborate with the department manager as needed 

Requirements

• 2+ years of payroll experience 
• Strong knowledge of prevailing wage laws, employee type requirements, and payroll software
• High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
